The Future is Bright STEM and Trades Bootcamp Days featured a range of hands-on activities and inspiring talks from women working in STEM and trades at Endeavour Energy.

For high school girls in Western Sydney.
In partnership with Endeavour Energy, Western Sydney Women delivered these Bootcamps to high school girls in Western Sydney at no cost to the school or students.
About the Bootcamps
Students visited the Endeavour Energy Technical Training Centre in Prestons for a day of learning and fun! They heard from women working in STEM and trades and learn about the roles and pathways available at Endeavour Energy.
They had the opportunity to observe and participate in activities with qualified Endeavour Energy employees, including:
Pole Climb Activity – students learned about overhead electrical work as well as have the opportunity to try on Personal Protective Equipment and climb onto a pole platform while harnessed (1m high)
Sustainability and Drones – students learned about sustainability and innovative engineering projects, plus had the opportunity to fly a drone
Virtual Reality – students learned about how training is implemented using VR and had the opportunity to experience VR
Training Centre Tour – students learned about a variety of work activities and equipment including tools, vehicles and training environments
This day encouraged students to have fun while exploring a variety of roles in a safe, supportive environment.
